Construction Update
Well, talk around town is that we are showing progress. Actually, if the general public would go around to the back of the building they would see that it looks wonderful. We have not started the stone and siding on the front, so the face still doesn't show how far along we are. The plywood over the windows and doors on the second floor are to protect them while work is happening on the roof. If you compare these pictures to the pictures of just 3 weeks ago you will be so happy. Last update I told you we had poured the foundation for the new west annex. Well, this annex has the steel in place, and the third floor going up.

We are ahead of our new timeline in several areas. The siding and stonework is almost complete on the south and east walls. The roof is progressing quite well, since that is one of our critical path items. We plan to be totally dried in by the end of October so the process goes smoothly and FAST regardless of the weather.

I was at The Innsbruck this morning and there were 40 workers all over the building. We have crews pouring concrete, plumbers, electrician, carpenters and laborers, just to name a few. There is real progress happening. Each update should help excite you more about your new Aspen home.

Timing Celebration
We have had a few weeks to test our new timeline and check and double check it. We are confident that we will be able to get our owners here for the ski season.

You can go to the website and select your weeks. You can start coming anytime starting the week of February 4, 2007. This way we will be open for President's Week, and all the wonderful spring skiing. Each owner can select one ski week and one shoulder week. These weeks are bonus time for you and will not be taken from your four weeks which will start in June 2007.

We are also not doing any rentals during this time, since some construction will be ongoing and circumstances will be less than ideal. Since we are not doing rentals, there should be more time available for owners to use, so don't hesitate to check on space available and book it starting in January. There is a small outside chance that we could open prior to February 4. If this happens we will be calling owners and letting you have more time. We do not want anyone to book time ahead of February 4, but we will be very happy to give it to you if construction continues ahead of schedule.
